My name is Carmen S. I was featured some years ago, but I wanted to inspire a few people again.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
The thing that kept encouraging me when I wanted to give up was the end goal, which was me losing weight and being healthier. I’d done it before, so I knew I was capable of doing it again. I constantly remind myself of that.
How did you change your eating habits?
I changed my eating habits by using Terry Starks‘ meal plan. This man was truly heaven-sent. He caters his meal plans to your body type, and the weight drops. What is your workout routine? How often did you work out?
My workout routine is 30 minutes of cardio each day. Sometimes I do 30 minutes at night and in the morning for quicker results. Walking, Dancing, and “Walk Away the Pounds” videos are what I prefer most.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
My journey has been off and on for years, but I restarted a little over a year ago. I lost 36 pounds in seven weeks on Terry’s plan.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
The biggest lesson that I’ve learned is to never give up. When you do your body right, it will do you right.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
My advice to you is never to give up. Even when you fall off, you can always restart. Be intentional about pushing yourself, and you will see the results that you desire.
